Himalayan Balsam Bash – Beavers Group

The Beavers Group have volunteered to help by pulling Himalayan Balsam on Hell Wath. They will be accompanied and supervised by their group leaders, but any additional volunteers are welcomed.

A good place for them to tackle is the end of the track and along the crushed stone footpath towards the veteran oak tree. It’s not too far to walk from the Clubhouse and the HB is easily identifiable and reachable in this area without diving into brambles. It is also an area pulled last year so a good one to keep working on.

Please wear suitable clothing and footwear – gardening gloves are strongly recommended as HB often grows amongst prickly brambles and hawthorn. Please bring any refreshments you may require during this activity.
