Scything Himalayan Balsam

There is far too much Himalayan Balsam to pull around the meadow perimeter of the Quarry, so we plan to scythe this area on Wednesday morning at 9.00am.

Please wear suitable clothing and footwear – long trousers and sleeves and gardening gloves are strongly recommended as HB often grows amongst prickly brambles and hawthorn. Please bring any refreshments you may require during this activity.
