Butterfly Identification

Have you got your White’s in a muddle? Do the Skippers have you hopping and jumping? Are day-flying moths a mystery? Join Nick Hall (Transect Co-Ordinator for Yorkshire Butterfly Conservation) and Kerry Metcalfe (Volunteer Butterfly Survey Coordinator for Yorkshire Wildlife Trust) on Monday 15 April at 7pm for a Zoom training session for butterfly transect walkers.

They will look at some of the common identification challenges and offer helpful guidance and top tips. They’ll also recap transect walking parameters and you’ll have a chance to ask any questions you have before the season starts.

Training will last for 1.5 to 2 hours and the session will be recorded so it’s available for reference and for those who are unable to attend.
