Evening Bat Walk – Members Only

Time: 8.00pm
Meet at: Ripon Panthers Clubhouse
Duration: About 1 hour

Following International Bat Night on 29th August, John Pearse ( Trustee and licensed bat surveyor ) will conduct a walk around Hell Wath at dusk. The aim is to spot bats flying on Hell Wath and to identify which species they are by picking up their echo location sounds using special monitors.

This event is only open to FOHW members as numbers are limited. Please let the secretary know if you wish to attend by emailing sec.fohw@gmail.com. The walk will start at dusk and finish in the dark so please bring a torch with you and wear suitable clothing and footwear for the activity.
